The Highmountain tauren are an offshoot of tauren found in the region of Highmountain on the Broken Isles. Divided into four tribes ( Highmountain, Rivermane, Skyhorn and Bloodtotem ), they are the direct descendants of the tauren led by Huln Highmountain who assisted the Kaldorei Resistance during the War of the Ancients. One thing (only really matters if you RP I guess) Highmountain Tauren appear to place emphasis on the elements of earth, sky (air) and river (water), at least from their current primary tribe composition. Kalimdor Tauren make equal reference to all of them, including fire. Not to say HMT don't use it, but it may not be as prominent.

Highmountain Tauren Unlock Allied Races for Horde
If you want themes to fit in you could look at the various tribes that make up the highmountain: Rivermanes would fit incredibly well as Resto Shamans, Bloodtotem would be excellent warriors, Highmountain themselves are basically THE survival hunters.

1 Cybeles • 6 yr. ago Lore-wise, there's a lack of info for Highmountain Tauren Shamans honestly. We only know of the Rivermane tribe who have an affinity with water but they were mostly looked down upon for maintaining a peace pact between the Highmountain Tauren and the Drogbar.

Mag'har, they look x10 cooler imo. I think both races have shamans with all 3 specs. Drek'thar is pretty cool: in Draenor he's an Elemental shaman. In Alterac, he's Enhancement. Aggra is Elemental in Draenor. Since the Mag'har have no Druids, Priests, or Monks, all the magical healing they have access to is supplied by Shamans.

Lvl 70 Highmountain Tauren Enhancement Shaman (leveld as Orc in 2012, race changed in 2016) Friendly 5,999/6,000 with Thunderbluff Exalted 21,000/21,000 with Highmoutain Tribe Renown 1 with Maruuk Centaur (alt character) (Main 25 Renown) But I think Reputation and Renown doesen't matter. Transmog for Taurens Highmountain Tauren May Be Closer Than We Think!
Looking for ideas for a highmountain tauren shaman. Please suggest me some cool transmog sets i could farm which are shamanish and fits good on tauren. I don't like sets with visible head pieces or robes very much. I'm currently using the high mountain heritage set, but it's a bit boring, and not very much into the native indian vibe.
